Like other churches, BUCC requires generosity and fundraising to meet the operating and outreach needs of the church. Nothing happens without this. Donations may be earmarked for special ministries (children or youth ministry, building fund, LGBT outreach, or more) or into our general budget.
General Fund - This is the main fund supporting church operations, including buildings and grounds- to keep the building clean, safe and functioning, with the lights on; worship expenses; church administration; Christian education; and staff- a fulltime pastor, plus office and music staff. Donations to this fund go into the annual budget.
Building Fund- Like our homes, church buildings have constant maintenance needs and sometimes large projects. We just finished a major deck project that involved stabilizing the hillside, hiring of structural engineers, and a full deck rebuild. We know that we will have upcoming major parking lot repairs, air conditioning repairs, playground renovation, and more. Sometimes there are surprises. Donations to this fund go into a long-term building and maintenance budget.
Mission and Outreach - Donations can be made specifically to the Board of Mission and Outreach. These donations are used for projects sponsored by the Board, including the BUCC food pantry and hygiene items, BUCC little library, Kiva fund, or other Mission and Outreach ministries.
Other Ways To Give
Your gifts to Beavercreek UCC ensure the means to continue the mission, ministry and voice of BUCC far into the future. If you wish to designate your bequest for a particular use (ie building maintenance, future building projects, mission and outreach, etc), please contact us.

Giving Time or Talent
There are many ways to give to the congregation. We always appreciate financial donations, but contributions of time and talent are essential to every church community.
We have many ways to be involved: Be active in a church board or committee. Sign up to provide coffee and treats after worship Sunday. Volunteer to help at a fundraiser. Help keep the playground weeded. Participate in church cleaning. Be a lay reader or usher at worship. Join the choir. Let us know what your passions and your talents are!
